- To preserve the characteristics of the blade and the beauty of the handle over time, Bugatti recommends hand washing with liquid or cream detergents. Avoid detergents containing alkaline agents, alcohol, perfumes, powders, or wire brushes.
- Bugatti does not recommend dishwasher use for the following reasons:
- Dishwashing detergents contain aggressive chemicals that can affect the steel of the blades.
- High temperatures above 130°F may cause premature wear of plastic materials.
- At the end of the cycle, prolonged exposure to humidity may cause corrosion spots on the blades.
