Some tables want color. This collection is for the ones that want steel. Here you will find every Casa Bugatti stainless steel flatware set without a resin handle — pieces that are metal from tip to tail, either polished bright or finished in a PVD color coating.
The base is 18/10 stainless steel flatware, the grade with enough nickel to hold its shine and resist corrosion through daily use. On the PVD pieces, a thin, hard layer of colored coating is bonded directly to the steel — gold, black, copper and more — so the color is part of the surface, not painted on top of it. It is the same finishing technology used on fine watches, applied to forks.
Casa Bugatti has designed and made cutlery in Italy since 1923, and this collection is the most direct expression of that century of metalwork: no handle material to soften the line, just the shape of the piece itself. If you want Italian stainless steel cutlery that reads as modern and architectural, or a gold PVD set that dresses a weeknight table for an occasion, it is here.
Each set is made to order in Italy and ships in about four weeks — each set is prepared for your order, in the finish you chose. Place settings come gift-boxed, which makes them as easy to give as to keep.
Start with a five-piece setting for two, see how the weight sits in your hand, and build from there.
